Hello! My first post on this forum... :)

I have a problem: text expressions that should trigger the keyswitch for the trumpet/trombone ("cup", "harmon", "open") don't do the job. Any ideas?

Using Finale 25 on a Macbook and Garritan JABB3.

Since I don't have the sounds you have (it said they were missing, implying you must have GPO or samples other then GIfF), I need to ask: are they Keyswitch sounds?

The sounds I use are from JABB3, and yes, they have keyswitches (they work if switched manually in ARIA Player).

I believe the problem is somewhere in Human Playback, but everything looks fine, according to Finale manuals.

I changed the Expression definitions to include dump data to trigger the keyswitches and they affected the sound just fine. If you can't get the preferences set correctly, you can do that as well.

Sorry to revive such an old thread, but having the same problem and can't figure it out. What value do you use when selecting the 'dump data' for a mute expression. Thanks for any info!
