I have loaded an audio file into Finale 25 and the audio is played at a step higher than the original file. I thought that the key signature might have something to do with it but I've tried several different key signatures and nothing changed. Anyone have any advice for this problem?

Sounds like the sample rate is a mismatch with Finale. Either change Finales setting, or the sample rate of the imported audio.

In Finale :
Midi/Audio -> Device Setup -> Audio Setup : Sample Rate : 44100 (or the same as the audio file).

Hey, michelp!

Thanks for the input. But actually you need to change this setting on windows speakers device settings. Not in Finale.

All the best and keep safe!

How do you load an Audio File into Finale?
I thought it would just play Finale Files.
