Simple Drum Part - Hi-Hat volume

Evening all,
Thank you in advance for your shared knowledge.
Have had this trouble for a while but just getting around to questioning it.
Simple drum part attached.
Snare drum ok. Kick drum ok. Hi-Hat volume inconsistent and changes from playback to playback, for me at least. Sometimes sounds like it just disappears in the mix and cannot be heard.
Any suggestion appreciated. Thanks, B
