no sound layer 2

I did a Piano reduction and then I did some modifications on notes.
When I playback I get no sound for layer 2 on Piano reduction.
I appreciate your always valuable help

I did a lot of experimentation. the file even crashed once. When I copy the staves to another file, Layer 2 plays fine. I'm guessing some kind of corruption, but I'm not sure.
Have you tried creating a fresh file and copying there?

Aha! Found it!
Go to Document Options/Layers. Look at Layer 2 settings. Playback is unchecked. Check it and all should be well.
My last experiment was to change Layer 2 to Layer 3. It played. That's what lead me to check the Layer Options.
