How do I most easily do to make the drum sound as a drum on playback? There doesn't seem to be any drum voices in any midi fonts that came with the program. Any tips?

Take a look in the window Instrument List.

Percussion playback sounds are on Channel 10.

So you should change the channel to Channel 10, and you will have the percussion sounds.

Thank you, but that doesn't work for me. It is on Channel 10 and still only get the same instrument lists and sounds as for the other staffs.

What the.. When I started the computer now and started Finale, wntire sections of a symphony I'm writing has gone quite. The percussion channel is working now (but not the drum set channel). The wind instruments are all dead, I don't know what to do. I've double checked, there is no easy error as something being muted or so. :S

Delete this thread please. The problem had nothign to do with anything, just a minor bug.
