Midisport 2x2

I'm on Finale '03, PC.
On my old computer ( Win'98 ) I used a Midisport 2x2 USB interface.
I have downloaded and installed an updated driver for the Midisport 2x2, on my new(er) 'puter. But when I open Finale or a Finale document, it does not show up in the Midi information. All I will use it for is speedy entry.
I check "use midi input device" in the sppedy drop-down menu and still nothing.
How do get Finale to recognize this USB device?
I am getting wicked fast with simple entry, which is still painfully slow.
