I just installed Finale 26.1 on a Mac Book Pro running Mac OS Mojave (10.14.5).

I also downloaded and installed the latest ARIA Player (1.872).

The Finale Install installed both Finale and the Garritan sounds.

However, when I open Finale and create a new file from template, when I begin to enter music, I get a pop up stating:

Missing Audio Units Plugin: ARIA player

Some sounds used in this document are not available on your computer. Would you like Finale to reassign all instruments in this document to sounds available on your computer? (Your file will be changed.)

I get a Yes or No selection. If I choose Yes, I then see the following pup up:

The requested virtual instrument plugin could not be found.

I have searched the web and tried various solutions, none of which have helped. I have uninstalled both Finale and the Aria Player several times and re3installing, but I consistently get the above error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Denny

Just a follow up...,

I was continuing to research and I read that you should restart your Mac after installing Finale.

So I just restarted my Mac and re-opened Final and now Aria Player is showing up under MIDI/Audio->Audio Units Banks and Effects and I am no longer being the Pop Up Error messages. So the restart resolved my issue.

Thanks!

Denny
