Playback transposes horn and trombone by half step

Sometimes when playing back a file it sounds as though one of the brass (horn or trombone or both) are sounding a half-step off from what is written. It has been happening in multiple files and at random times. I cannot figure out any pattern to why this is happening. Today it happened at least 8 times within a two hour composing session. When this happens I do not save and quit finale then re-open and everything is back to normal. Is this a bug that can be fixed?
