I spent yesterday tearing my hair out. Please examine the attached file. I've used the mixer to isolate the soprano line. It plays back fine.
However, when I export it as MP3, the eighth note D on beat two of measure 7 does not sound. I have shortened the duration of the preceding note in the MIDI tool. I have played back through MIDI and audio units. I have exported as all of the options. I have converted to MP3 in iTunes. I have tried two different MIDI to MP3 convertors. In both of those cases, although the MP3 plays back correctly on my computer, when I email them to be checked the recipient is unable to open the MP3s. I have restarted the computer, with the same results.
I sent it in to tech support, but being the weekend, I don't expect to hear until next week. If anyone can help me out, I will be truly grateful!
This dropping repeated notes on MP3 export happens in multiple pieces, not just this one. I have also tried it in F25. I'm generating learning tracks, so playback has to be correct.
Thanks.

I tried all kinds of modifications. When I changed it to Garritan sounds, all worked well. However, you only have the option of Wav export, which means you would then have to convert the Wav files.
When I turned off HP, it exported properly. However, you might need HP. So, I modified the Standard HP. I put the Rhythmic Feel slider down to 0. I suppose, if you need Rhythmic Feel, you could experiment with settings other than 0.
Test the attached file to see if it works any better for you.

P.S.: I added a sample mp3 of the beginning measures where the problem was occurring, originally.

Thanks, Zuill. I have to sing choir this morning, but it’s definitely on the afternoon schedule!
I’m thinking that the rhythmic feel is less important than the correct notes.

I took the liberty of making a change in the Piano sound used. Finale has available a slightly better piano sound in the SmartMusic SoftSynth that many people are not aware of. It's called Piano 1. I think it is slightly more realistic, and still gives the option of recording directly to mp3.

Zuill, many, many thanks. I'm not sure if it was changing to Piano 1, or no HP (I think I forgot to turn it off for one song) but they are rendering properly.
Much appreciated!

You don't need to turn HP off. Just customize it the way my file did. The rest of HP might be useful.
