VST midi channels

I use a lot of VST's
GPO
GJAABB
EastWest Vapor
Symphonic Choirs
Kontakt 2
Battery
Bandstand
Now I love the Vat integration my only problem is that when i use these prgrams as plug-in i can only control 8 channels even though each plug-in says channels 1-16, 17-32 my question is is there anyway to control these channels as groups of eight instead of 16?
