I'm working on an iMac in Mojave 10.14.6, 16 GB of RAM. Finale 25.5 with HP on, using GPO5 and COMB2 instruments. I've been getting a lot of skipping on playback using playback controls. There is no skipping when I export an audio file and play it back. Sample rate is set at 96000 Hz, and buffer size is 4096. The skipping occurs in all files. Did I miss a setting? Any idea what the problem might be and how to fix it? Thanks.

My understanding is that Finale 25.5 is compatible with Mojave--not compatible with Catalina. Everything else works fine.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to eliminate the skipping? I should add that the skipping also occurs in the Finale 26.1 demo.

Update: I changed the sample rate from 96000 Hz to 44100 Hz. I don't remember why or when I set it at 96000. Nevertheless, no skipping at 44100, so far. All's working well.
