Good afternoon,
first of all my system:
Windows XP SP 3
Finale 2014d
Garritan instruments for Finale 1.010
Aria Engine 1.916
Aria Player 1.872
I cannot get Garritan playing back through Finale
although I set up the audio preferences pointing to Garritan
In the Aria Player I can get the sound clicking on the keys
but no sound if I insert notes in FInale and try to play them back
Any help appreciated

It's probably one of those settings. Make sure the MIDI/Audio pull-down menu has Play Finale through VST checked, and make sure in the Score Manager you've selected the Garritan instruments.
