Hi! I'm new to this forum. I have Finale 2020 and some 6-7 years old .mus files. Obviously they have not been written with Finale 2020 but they open correctly, the problem is the playback. In some files it works, in some others the playback starts but with no sound. I can't figure out why, it's not an audio problem because it works with some files, maybe a compatibility problem? Can someone help? Thanks!!

If you can upload one of the misbehaving files, or a portion thereof, someone can investigate. Otherwise, we would just be guessing.

Yes I can upload them correctly, and even the playback starts but no sound come out. The stranger thing is that this doesn't happen with all files, just some of them (the most part)

By upload, we mean upload the file here on the forum so we can check it out.

ok I got it now. I'm uploading for example two files, Final Fantasy Simphony works with the playback, while Force Your Way not

Both play for me. What version are you playing them in?
