I am on the latest version of Finale on a Mac. (26.2.2.493)
On my Virtual Drumline 2.5 staves, I can change midi velocities and it works as expected. I can set a measure to playback at midi velocity 0 or scale from 1-64, an it plays back as expected.
When I choose a wind instrument staff and change the velocities, it has no effect. I can set the midi velocities to 0 and you still hear loud playback.
The music was copied and pasted from an XML generated by Sibelius
What am I missing? Anyone know how to fix this?

Can you post a short sample file for us to examine? We'd only be guessing without being able to test something.
