Hello, I'm completely stumped. I have Finale 2012 and JABB 3. I cannot get the brass to play fall offs. I've read something about fonts? Do I have to use Broadway Copyist document style in order to have fall off shapes that will play back? I hope not, as I prefer the regular document style.

Also, I've used smart shape glissando for fall off but that sounds more like a slide.

Thank you.

There's a Preference for choosing Chromatic or Slide Fall-off.
Should work with any Font.
They never sound good, tho,
so for playback purposes, I write them out, with 32nd notes chromatic scale.
It's a PAIN, but sounds much better!
Might also work using Grace Notes.

Hi, I'm very sorry I was distracted; would have thanked you sooner.

Yes, them grace notes come in handy! But OK, I'd rather write them out that fuss with definitions and such. Great idea, thanks. Can really make them sound realistic that way.
