Cursor Position in NotePerformer fixed?

Is it just me, or has the cursor position issue with NotePerformer been fixed. I had gotten so used to the playback being way behind the cursor position that I had quit looking at it. However, last night I was playing a file and noticed the cursor was exactly where it should be for playback. I've since opened several other files and saw the same behavior. I don't remember seeing anything about this being fixed. Is it real, or am I hallucinating?
