Does anyone know how to get string harmonics to playback correctly? Finale seems to be recognizing the harmonic as the printed pitch. Any ideas?

How did you create the string harmonics?
If you create them with the TG Tools plug-in Easy Harmonics, you will automatically get correct playback.

Often HP can be fussy. It can depend on things like how the staff is set up. Do you have a misbehaving file for us to examine?

Thank you for your responses. Sorry to be so slow replying! I'd like to re-examine my file. I know that I began by simply changing the type of notehead but then discovered the plugin. At the moment my playback is not working AT ALL so I can't check what I've done but I will do so once the playback starts behaving again. I'll be back with you. Thanks for your patience!

Hi again. Everything is working great! Thanks for your help. I made sure all the harmonic passages were done with the plug-in and then played back only the part that contained the harmonics so I could hear it clearly. Everything's great! Thanks again!
