Hi - different permutations of the same problem. I'm in the middle of a playback and the key of one of the parts will migrate to a different key of the other parts. Or sometimes the entire key will just start to move around. I have FINALE 26.2.1.464 and I have OS 10.15.6 Catalina. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

Are there any glissandi in the score?

I'm back - there are no glissandi in the score.
I create a piano vocal score, and the vocal part does not playback in the same key as the piano part. The piano part is correct, the vocal is not. So I change the vocal sound to a piano sound or an oboe sound and now they are correct and I hear the score as it should sound. Then I go back to replay it, and the piano or oboe sound playing the vocal part has once again gone to an incorrect key from the piano track or perhaps vice a versa. I tried replaying a score for 2 flutes, bass oboe, violin cello and mandolin of a common hymn tune and it was horribly out of tune due to the fact that different parts were playing back in different keys.

Any solution?

Question: could it be that i need to de-authorize my Finale 26 and reinstall it?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

The best way would be if you can attach your file, or part of it exhibiting the problem, here.

Even if all parts were in different keys, it wouldn't sound "out of tune" necessarily.
There's a weird thing Finale does, usually in response to having Glisses,
where it goes amazingly and bizarrely out-of-tune.
Restarting Finale fixes that, tho.
Do post some of your file for us to test!
