I downloaded a bunch of little pieces like this. They were in .mus legacy format. The repeats don't work. They are set to "Play 2 times", although in some of the originals, they were not, so I fix them to play 2 times, and it still doesn't repeat. If I edit the repeat def, it still doesn't work. If I delete the repeats and replace them, then they do work. "Check Repeats..." always knows the truth. Is there a global way to fix the dysfunctional repeats? Is the problem related to Finale translating .mus incorrectly?

Thanks!

Change "Target measure" to "nearest forward repeat."

Thanks motet! Once again, the problem was right in front of me & I missed it. I see now that in some other pieces in this bunch the repeats have real targets, but not in agreement with the sheet. But they likely were correct for the early .mus version.

There is a setting to Auto-Update Target, but I've found it easier to delete and re-enter them on my own.

I am not familiar with Auto-Update Target. In this file, just highlight the first repeat section and, in the Repeat Tool, choose Create Simple Repeat. Then do the same for the second section.
