So....I tried a different HP setting from the "standard" I've always left it on. I did "classical," then moved it back to standard again. But ever since, in the 2nd bar, one note is slightly delayed. That note, nothing else in the piece. I've tried changing HP to different ones, then back to standard, recreating the bar, tried pasting in that bar from previous versions, closed the piece and reopened it, exporting it as xml than reopening it, restarting my PC(!)...pretty much everything besides uninstalling Windows and selling my house. I'm at a loss. btw the note plays perfectly when I playback using shift-space bar, but not on normal playback. Any ideas? (at this point I just shut off HP and that's my default work-around.)

Okay, revisiting this since the problem is now happening with a different piece. Bizarre goings on. I've attached a few bars where the problem occurs. Around halfway through the 2nd bar, some of the instruments just slow down temporarily....the violin/cello at least. It's HP's fault; when it's shut off, the parts play as written. So far I've tried looking it up, no joy. Reloaded MIDI driver, exported as XML file, reimported, saved and exited multiple times, deleted those bars and tried again, even restarted the PC. Nothing doing. It always slows down in that bar and again later on. Listen to the cello especially; you'll see it right away. Any ideas?

This is due to HP interpreting the Fermata in the top staff (Flute). Remove that and all is well.
