Non-Stop Playback

Suddenly, when I playback a score the timer keeps running after the Final Barline and the counter keeps going until I hit the stop button. This is somewhat of a problem when exporting to audio file since the export continues on after the last measure has been exported. Anyone else having this issue? Finale 26, MAC user.
It is interesting because the timer keeps running as does the number on the right of the measure counter. I don’t remember exactly what that number signifies. The measure number and the 4 representing the fourth beat don’t keep running. Just the number to the right of them and the timer run indefinitely.
