Hello,
My last computer recently crashed, so I redownloaded Finale v.26 on my new computer. When I tried to open my string quartet from my last computer, the playback sounded extremely "choppy" or "short." Everything appears to be normal in the score manager and the mixer, so I am not quite sure what the issue is, but any help would be appreciated!

W need more info about the Finale document, and about the Playback Device
Open the Finale document, and take a look in the MIDI/Audio menu.
What playback option is selected?
{Play Finale Through VST}
or
{Play Finale Through MIDI}
?
Also, it might be helpful to know about the Device Setup (look in the MIDI/Audio menu).

"Play Finale Through MIDI" was selected, which was not the case before. I changed that to "Play Finale Through VST" and it sounds normal again. Thank you!
