Since the most recent update, my audio settings have been knocked out of whack. Most problematic is that the first instrument of any ensemble I create is inaudible during playback.
There is volume, but it is so quiet that it's useless compared to the volume of other instruments.
I have checked the levels in Studio view, and in the Garritan settings, and everything looks normal. I have changed the instrument (in the attached example it's a string quartet) from Violin KS 1 to other KS violins to no avail. I've changed my MIDI/Audio output between WASAPI, DirectSound, etc. and still no use.
My quick fix has been to create THREE violin tracks, and just ignore the top staff, but that seems like a crazy workaround long term. Any insight would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian

The top instrument plays in your file on my system. Since I use Windows and you use Mac, there might be a Mac only setting that I don't have in Windows.

Sometimes it is an issue dealing with the Pan setting. See if changing 14, which is way over to the left, to a higher number, bringing it closer to the middle, does anything.
