HI Zuil and MOtet
About transferring files with Percussion Maps to another computer
Zuil said:
"The one thing to remember is that Percussion maps are saved locally, and are not saved with the file. Layouts are. So, if you want to send a file to someone else, then you need to send instructions as to the Map that you created, so the recipient of your file can duplicate your Map."
Motet said that his libraries" C:\Users\Motet\AppData\Roaming\MakeMusic\Finale 2014.5\MIDI Device Annotation"

On my computer Finale saves Libraries here:
C:\Users\portable\AppData\Roaming\MakeMusic\Finale 27\Libraries\Percussion_Library

I tried to save my percussion map Dharma_3 in another location and then sent it by mail to another of my computers
From Finale, 'LOAD LIBRARY' I loaded Dharma_3. Apparently Finale loaded it, but where???
When I went
MIDI/AUDIO/ Device Setup / Percussion Input Maps
And I select Garritan Instruments for Finale I don’t find Dharma_03 in the available maps!
So the sub-question is: How can I say to Finale that I have a new Percussion Map?
Thanks for the help
Daniel

The percussion input map is not a "library" in the Finale sense, I don't think. You just need to copy the file to the right place.
