I'm having a problem with getting high harmonics to play back in Garritan Personal Orchestra (or in the Finale Default bank, for that matter).

In the attached file, the notes with the red arrows pointing to them won't play back in any of the Garritan viola instruments.
Does anybody have an idea of how to fix this?

I don't know about GPO, but for the GIfF, those notes are not within the range of the sample. You can playback while looking at the keyboard in the Aria player and when it gets to those notes, it goes into the grey keys, which are outside of the range.

Thank you very much. I see what you're saying. It's crazy that these notes are outside the range, since they are quite playable. But I find that many other instruments have the same problem.

Those notes are well within the range of the Garritan Orchestral Strings Violas Harmonics sample, which goes well over 3 octaves from Middle C.

So I presume it's 'just' a question of triggering the correct playback from whatever notation you're using.
