Can someone PLEASE fix the entry of the third violas in mm. 9 for me, or tell me how to? Despite the pppp marking, and despite the other strings playing back fine, they enter at fff until the note change in mm. 15!

Thanks.

I'm not getting anything at Bar 9 in the 3rd Violas. I only have GIfF, so that might be why. With GIfF, that note is not available, as it is a High D, and the sample ands at High C. Someone who has your sound set, whatever it is, will need to test. You might want to share that information. When sharing files, success on the other end depends on the other user having the same sound sets.

Zuill, interesting: you're getting no sound at all? The harmonic plays for me, it's just super loud. But then when the note changes in mm. 15, it's fine.

I need to add Noteperformer into my signature.

I suppose I'll try writing to Noteperformer. Arne's pretty good about resopnding.

Try it without Noteperformer. If it's fine, then you know.

I looked at it yesterday and noticed that pppp has a different assignment from some of the others in terms of layers (all vs layer 1), but that shouldn't matter. But who knows how Noteperformer works.

Since I have GIfF only, and this was written for Noteperformer, that explains why there's no sound for me. With GIfF, the highest available note is C. This harmonic is D.

For what's it worth, I selected "Play through MIDI" and ran the lower viola staff through MIDIOX to see what essentially got sent:

[...]
0005CAB8 10 -- B6 07 16 7 --- CC: Volume
0005CAE6 10 -- 96 56 2B 7 D 6 Note On
0005DA0C 10 -- B6 07 17 7 --- CC: Volume
0005E137 10 -- B6 07 18 7 --- CC: Volume
0005E779 10 -- B6 07 19 7 --- CC: Volume
0005ED76 10 -- B6 07 1A 7 --- CC: Volume
0005F3E7 10 -- B6 07 1B 7 --- CC: Volume
[...]

So the harmonic does not get sent at all, lots of volume information is added and the viola note is being sent with a velocity of 0x2b = 43 decimal, whereas the pppp expression defines the velocity as 10. All those changes are obviously done by Human Playback, as no other software is involved. That's not solving the issue, but might help in tracking down the problem.
