I need help with getting Flutter tongue to playback.
Please excuse if this question is obvious from the Finale Help menu.

I've tried just the trill extension tool, but that gives a tremolo with the third above.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You would need a sample library that included it.
Finale 25, Overture, Sibelius, Notion, Cubase, StaffPad
Win10 x64, 32GB RAM, Focusrite Scarlett 18i20
Kontakt, VSL VI Pro, VE Pro, EWQL Orch, Choirs and Pianos

Thanks for the reply.
I only have the very old Kontakt 3 and the very new Note Performer.
Is there a way to simulate the flutter tongue technique using a keyswitch or other playback mechanism? I have tried a lot, unsuccessfully, but maybe there's some method that I'm overlooking.
Alternatively, do you have a relatively inexpensive sample library to suggest?

Thanks again.

NotePerformer lists Flutter-tongue among it's articulations. If you don't get an answer here you could contact them.

Might putting something like this in a hidden layer suffice?

Yes, I see in the manual that tremolo will give you flutter-tongue.
