Unusual Intermittent screen flicker on the Finale Interface

In both V26, and the V27 trial i have, both show an unusual intermittent flicker upon the main screen interface. It begins on the left and flickers through the Finale program for a couple seconds like a Mexican wave, particularly through the playback control icons. It seems to occur every 60 seconds, and sometimes during playback the green playback cursor will stumble during this phenomena.
I thought at first it was my hardware, but after following numerous procedures to counter screen flicker, and having put numerous diagnostic checks on my system and monitor, the results return 'all working fine'.
Yesterday i tried Finale on a different computer and the same phenomena occurred.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Is it worth worrying about?
