In the attached document, the glissando is written as D to G but plays back incorrectly as A to G, the interval reduced to only one tone. When the top note is raised to E or higher, the note is still played back as A. The issue does not surface when "Electric Bass (Slap)" is selected as the instrument. It seems Garritan's "Electric Bass (Pick)" is defective or not fully compatible with Finale. Choosing "Chromatic" as the type of glissando corrects the pitch, but I prefer a smooth glide. Is there anything else I can try to ?

I didn't download your example to study, but when I had a similar problem a while back the solution was to use the MIDI tool to manually set the pitch wheel to zero after the previous glissando.
