Hello,

I have the following problem.
I want to create a composition for percussion enseble.
I have Finale2005 and i use a elecronic drumkit (Roland TD12) as midi-input device (like a midi-keyboard).
Beeing a drummer, this would be an extremly great and easy way to create my compositions.

I have to set my quant settings to 32-notes, because a snaredrum often uses rolls.
With a rather slow tempo and an accurate recording, this works rather well. Oke it has to many errors, and needs al lot of cleaning up, but that could be done.

The real problem is when also using triplets in compbination with the 32-notes quant setting.
I often use triplets (3 and 6) so i should enable the mixed-mode option in the hyperscribe options.

When i play the snaredrum part finale makes a mess of it. It creates many 7-tuplets, 5-tuplets and so on. Mostly this is the case when my roll is not accurate enough. (altough i think my rolls are very accurate).

Since i never us 7 or 5-tuplets, i was wondering if i could tell Finale it should only use 3-triplets and ignore all others (becouse that probably are rolls).
I know Sibelius has this option, but beeing €799 that is not realy an option .
