No Timeline in Finale?

I ran a search for 'timeline' in the manual but got zero results; so I gather that MakeMusic is yet to add such a feature to Finale, and that one must manually calculate when an event occurs in a score. Is there a way to determine the time occurrence of beats or measures in Finale, without manual calculation?

Maybe this : Edit Measure Regions has a possibility to display "Time" instead of Measure Numbers.

Look for "elapsed" in the manual. I think a "timeline" is something else:

Yes, the term "Timeline" is probably mis-applied here. But publishers of many audio editors refer to, say, a time ruler, as a timeline bar; so it is difficult to follow. In video editing, where one often needs about 20 apps to have full control of the multimedia, developers frequently apply different meanings to terms like merge, join and concatenate.
