Noteperformer trills over tied notes

I'm having an issue where any trill extended over a tie (as below) will be re-attacked on each written note, rather than continuing smoothly for the duration. This doesn't seem to happen with Garritan. Any idea what's causing this or if there's a workaround? Has anyone else encountered this issue? Thanks.
