Hello.

I would like to use good old Garritan Gofriller Cello on Kontakt Player (5) with Finale v26 (Windows 10).

Current problem is that with standard notation of f-clef, Gofriller plays one octave lower than noted and it does not sound when the note goes lower than C3.

I wonder why I cannot find Garritan Gofreller Cello on Score Manager while it appears on the list of Human Playback.

Any input will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Be sure you're not using the F clef with an 8 underneath it, which will sound an octave lower. And be sure transposition is set to None.

I suppose if there is a bug, you could set the transposition to play up an octave.

Dear motet,

Thank you for your advice.

Sure, the clef is right (standard F-Clef) and no 8va sign. Transposition is none.

I tried to transpose octave higher. It was successful but strange enough it does not sound below noted C3. (maybe Finale understand C3 as C2 the lowest note of Cello)

Maybe, only trick would be transpose all the notes one octave higher but it is so heavy-handed and score and parts cannot be used normally.

Thanks again.
