The Mixer window loads very slowly in Finale 27. I did not have this problem in Finale 25 or before. Not only does it load slowly initially, it re-loads very slowly again every time I playback the file. Anyone encountered this?

I have encountered this issue when working with two documents that are tiled horizontally. Does the issue occur in all of your documents?

I'm experiencing the same exact problem. With only one file loaded. On an Intel i5 with 16GB of RAM.

Not only does it load very slowly for me, it stays 'blank' until I move the open window over to the other monitor. Then it takes 3-5 seconds before the machine responds to commands again, and that keeps happening every single time I play anything back. Windows 11, i9, 64gb ram, all SSHDs. Kontakt, QBase, etc. all run super fast on this machine. Anybody ever find an answer? Almost feels like the old 'playback buffer' size causing hissing and popping issue all over again from years ago.

Have you tried monitoring CPU usage in Task Manager while opening the mixer to see if something is hogging your computer's resources?

If unable to find a solution at this forum, you might try the ZenDesk at MakeMusic's support page.
