Hi, I used Finale with a PC for years and it worked great. Not that I'm on a mac, there are tons of pesky problems. For instance: in Windows I could place my cursor in a measure and use the space bar to playback from that point. On my Mac that doesn't work. I have to actually type the measure number in on the transport to playback from a particular measure.

Is this a Mac thing, or is there a fix for it? I'm using Finale version 26.3.643 and an iMac running Ventura 13 (although the same issue happened with Monterey and Catalina)

Does the new version fix this? If it does, I'm in. If not, well...

The Playback Controls windows should be closed. Then the spacebar will function to start playback from the selected measure.
Another useful feature is the manual scrubbing playback (on the Mac : Alt+Spacebar and drag with the mouse).
