Banjo won't play back

Windows 10, Finale 27, NP 4
My banjo line won't play back at all. I've searched through Score Manager and all of the MIDI and VST setups, but no luck. I've tried reassigning it Tenor Banjo, re-entering the notes, reassigning the channel: still nothing.
But if I create a brand new document of just banjo, that plays fine.

What does it mean when the banjo player is drooling from both sides of his mouth?

If you want to attach a file exhibiting the problem, ewindels, someone may be able to figure it out. Probably a setting somewhere.

I don't have the same instruments you do, but the banjo plays back. The rhythmic-notated part is very quiet, for some reason.

Sorry about the playback issue. It's puzzling that new files work. Check project settings for discrepancies. Reach out to support if needed.
