Select place top start playback with a mause

Hello,
I do my first steps with Finale and now I have troubles to select a specific point to start playback.

I've selected the 'Leftmost Measure' option in the Playback Region settings, but it doesn't help.
If I start/stop playback with a spacebar, playback resumes from the point it stopped and ignores my mouse clicks,
If I stop using the stop button on the Playback control panel, it strats to play from the top left corner visible on the page now, but also now from the specific point I want to choose.

Could you please advice if it's possible to secect the first note for playback with a mouse?
Or the only way is yo select a number of measure on the Playback controll panel?
