Hi, I'm back to Finale after a few years of absence
The issue today is that I've prepared a score for my rhythm classes using the claves, written on a single-line staff.
All is fine, except that when I play the audio, I get two different pitches.
It's not an imported video as the file was created in Finale.
I am on Mac and input the notes with the mouse. I tried changing the instrument, for example to Marimba, and got two notes (G,A), corrected it in the marimba version (only A note), back to claves, but the issue remains.
Thanks!
Audio: two different pitches for one percussion instrument

It appears that you have two pitches for the claves loaded. If you select a note in the first measure, it will read Claves (2), but if you step through the notes with the right arrow, you will get to a measure where it just says Claves. You can use the up or down arrows to get to the other sound.
I don't know percussion, so I can't dig out where the error occurred, but it's an easy fix.
