Help using Synth V plugin with Finale

I am trying to get the Synth V plugin to work with Finale with no success. Finale makes a kind of stuttering sound and then plays a split second at the end. I’m usually quite good with these sorts of things and have followed all the instructions for making a plugin work. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks so much. (I have a MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021) with Apple M1 Pro chip and my OS is Monterey 12.6. I'm using Finale 26.3.1.643.) Thanks Daniel
