Yamaha DX-205 has some sort of internal flash memory, a memory bank where you can record and store a piece you perform on the keyboard using the keboards own internal midi sounds.
I tried many time unsuccessfully to tranfer one recording to Finale via Finale's Hyperscribe.
It writes the score beautifully but when it gets to the end it says not responding, the bar at top with the menus File, Edit, View, etc. disapears, turns blank white. it does this when you click anything to end the hyperscribe session, if you click anything, such as the file drop down, or the x to close hyperscribe or anything else. A box appears that says not responding and to close the program losing all saved data.
It is doing this with both Windows and Mac, so I am guessing it is a problem with Yamaha keyboards incmpatability with Finale, but don't know.
Has anyone else experienced this or similar problem? Does anyone know how to make it work?
