can't drag "connection line" from interface to key

Hi.

Using a G4/500 running OSX 10.4.9, an M-Audio Firewire 410 and Korg Triton ProX, I can't get Finale to hear MIDI input using Hyperscribe.

I checked my Audio Midi Setup in the mac utilities, and the Firewire 410 is listed. I added the Korg as a New Device, but when I tried to "drag" the inputs and outputs to create the connection between the Korg and Firewire 410, nothing happens....

any suggestions?.....I'm using brand new midi cables and I have them correctly plugged from Korg to Firewire 410
