MIDI Playback and Linux

This is not terribly important, but it's something I'm curious about. I'm running Finale 2008 on Linux via Wine. Works fine from what I can see (haven't tested printing yet, but yeah...), except when I try to playback a piece, it goes about its business, acting normally, but I get no sound. I otherwise have sound on my computer. Anyone tried this before? Is there a setting, something to modify, or am I stuck with it this way?
