Hello, I opened a piano piece of mine from Finale 2006 in 2008 to see if 2008 was really any better. For some reason, it makes these loud POP noises when it hits certain chords and things. It's happening on both staccato accents, and regular accents. Any idea why this would happen, or what I could really do to troubleshoot this? I'm not super familiar or experience with making sound things work with me.

Which operating system are you using? Are you using the GPO sounds?

If you are using Windows XP try updating your DirectX.

Also, you might want to try to copy the older file into a new 2008 file to see if that helps.
