Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem with midi playback in finale 2010. I wrote a piece which has a section with some very complicated overlapping tuples in the string quartet. Playback is perfect until it gets to this section. It typically plays them fine for about 20 seconds, then all of a sudden, the quality of the sound changes greatly, namely, the notes are sounded and quickly muted. I'm using this piece for an audition, so it's actually fairly important that I have a usable audio file. Can anyone offer any suggestions or do you need some more information? Thanks!

Most playback issues are connected with slower processors, and inadequate RAM. If you can add some RAM, that might do it.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I'm running a dual-core 2.5 GHz with 4 GB of ram, so I would htink that would be enough, especially since I've thrown worse at it :/miker wrote:Most playback issues are connected with slower processors, and inadequate RAM. If you can add some RAM, that might do it.
