Finale keeps resetting my MIDI out to "none" after any change of tool, thus I have to go into the MIDI/Audio dropdown every time and reset the MIDI out to hear playback on my external keyboard (I have used three separate external keyboards with the same result). Finale has no problem with the setting of the MIDI in, only the output. I contacted Finale tech support and the tell me it is a hardware problem specific to the Dell Vostro.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, have you discovered a solution?
I have Finale 2012c.r13 for windows running on a Dell Vostro running Windows 7
