In Finale 2012 (PC) while in Page Layout my "Edit Margins" window opens so that the top of the window is off the screen. I am unable to re-position it. Is there a way to re-position this window without having access to the bar at the top of the window?

Quit Finale.

Remove the Preferences file (I think that it is called Finale.ini).

When you launch Finale again, it will build a new Preferences file.
Hopefully you will now have the "Edit Margins" window inside the screen.

Quit finale and removed finale.ini, but the problem remains, namely while in Page Layout my "Edit Margins" window opens so that the top of the window is off the screen and I am unable to re-position the sub window. Any other suggestions?

Two ideas:

1) Increase the screen resolution (temporarily).
With the higher resolution the window might be inside the screen so that you can re-position it.
You can decrease the screen resolutoon when you are done.

2) Contact the folks in Tech Support at MakeMusic.

Thanks for the alternate approaches. I was already at max resolution, but you moved me in the right direction. I changed the screen orientation from landscape to portrait which forced the trapped sub window to my second screen. I was able to re-position it from there. Thank you, again, for your time and your suggestions.
