Finale Version: 2010 for Mac

Hi,
This has been a problem for a long time now, a glitch going back to Finale 2010, and it continues with Finale 2014 (I'm using an iMac). Two layers in the treble clef, and for the lower voice, I designated a trill. During playback, the trill is played by both the lower and upper voices, even though it is only the lower voice which should be trilled. This is not a terribly serious problem since obviously we use Finale mainly for score notation, not playback, but in this particular case, musicians I'm writing for are requesting a Finale playback of my music.
Any suggestions for a fix?
Thank you as usual, Julian

I am unable to reproduce this problem.
The attached Finale 2014 document plays back correctly for me.
TrillPlayback.zip
(13.6 KiB) Downloaded 273 times
This forum does not allow the file name extension .musx.
Therefore I changed my document’s file name extension to .zip.
Just change the file name extension back to .musx - and Finale 2014 should be able to open it.

Could you provide exact steps to reproduce the problem?
Or perhaps attach a (small) Finale 2014 sample document that has the problem?

I apologize for my late reply, particularly since you replied so quickly. I have been stuck with a much more serious problem with Finale which delayed much of my work—I had to finish my project by hand-writing because of how severe this issue has been: I will address it in a separate question so that the topics don't get jumbled.
After this problem gets resolved, I'll return to the trills.
Thank you again.
