Finale Forum

Dear all

I am not optimistic that SmartScore Lite 6 will do what I want it to do (scan orchestral scores accurately) but I don't seem to be able to even open it. After opening Finale I select the Scanning option and I'm presented with the opportunity to upgrade Smartscore (which I ignore) but when I enter the next page Finale crashes completely. I wonder whether it's a system incompatibility - grateful for any advice.

You should contact the folks in Tech Support at MakeMusic.
The culprit is probably something that is specific for your computer system, and they know
a lot about problems that are related to specific hardware and/or specific software.

An example:
It may be possible that you have a software conflict between SmartScore Lite 6 and
Mac OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks.
