Hello,
I have symphonic score file. When I try to load playback it loads but to 73 % (processiong hairpins) and quits unexpectedly. It doesn't happen when I turn off human playback or play through MIDI.
Do you have idea what can it be?
I use Finale 2014d on mac mini (2.3 GHz, 16 GB) with mountain lion (10.8.5)
Please help!
Playback issue (73% processing hairpins)

Welcome to the forum!
My first guess would be that there somewhere mid-document is an item, that causes the crash.
I would make a duplicate copy of the Finale document, and use that duplicate copy to do a binary search (divide and conquer) for the measure with the culprit:
Delete half.
If that fixes the problem, reload the original and delete half of the bad half and try again, and so on.
This will home in on the offending passage very quickly.
However, this does assume that the damage is limited to a small contiguous segment.
If it's more widespread, then your only choice is a brute force search from end to end.

Thank you!
After few hours (torture) of searching I found culprit. That was a glissando in Harp part but only this one made through barline. Happens with wavy line and straight line. Also discovered this issue is only between two particular bars, I tried in another two and gliss. works perfectly. I just made "LINE TOOL" instead of gliss. in this one place and everything is ok now.
Thanks for your help. I hope someone someday use it.
All the best!
