I've read a few posts on this subject but just wanted to check there's no update. I need to insert about 10 pages into an 80 page score. I know I can achieve this by saving the score as 2 pdfs and pasting the insert but I want to have a score which is in Finale all the way through so that people can use it for rehearsal purposes. I've tried various approaches but every attempt seems to mess up the page layout (e.g. hidden staves, staff and lyric positioning etc) on the section after the insert. I think I'm coming to the conclusion that there's no way of doing it but I'd be grateful for confirmation. (I have tried to insert systems but Finale needs to know how many measures on each system and this is different on every system/page).

Thanks

Tony

Save the first half of your score without the last half, and work in that. When you're done, tack the back half back in.

If I do that all the layout settings are lost (hidden staves, staff positions etc which I have spent hours adjusting)
